Starting photography as a newbie had its perks and draw-backs. The perks being that each image taken with your camera is exciting, you get to learn how to use the camera and develop. I have been taking photographs for two years and I have still barely touched the surface. I have learned a few things and have picked up a few tricks along the way. I consider this blog as my scrap book of my favourite pictures that I have taken in the two years. I take these images with my Nikon D3100.

Slowing my shutter speed
I took this picture in Beddington park near where my children live. I had my tripod with me so I decided that I wanted to take shots with a slower shutter speed. With the slow shutter speed this waterfall look ever flowing.
Here are some of the settings used for this picture:
F-Stop - f/36
Exposure time - 30 sec
Focal Length - 55mm
Max Aperture - 5
Metering Mode - Spot
ISO speed - 100
